Goal: $180,000
$186,807 Total Raised
103% Complete

THANK YOU! WE DID IT! We raised $186,807 for Mitzvah Workshops!

This campaign is over.
You can still contribute to this campaign.

Jewish Pride You Can Touch.

This year, 2,500 children across NE Ohio crafted Judaism with their hearts, minds and very own hands. Help us reach thousands more.

Jewish youth need more than learning.

They need to experience, to create, to connect,

to feel their heritage come alive

in a way that shapes their identity and future.

That’s what Living Legacy Mitzvah Workshops deliver. From preschoolers to seniors, from schools to workplaces, over 2,500 Clevelanders last year rolled up their sleeves with us. Click the bolded links to SEE the short yet magical video clips.
  • Here's a quick glimpse of just the past few weeks of my Chanukah Olive Press where participants really made their own oil from olives, from preschools, day schools, family experiences, all the way to our final gig at the Maltz Museum - really special stuff! SEE IT HERE!

  • At the Shofar Factory, participants saw, drill, sand, and polish a raw horn into a kosher shofar they can blow with pride. (Here's a stunning photo glimpse into this year's Shofar making)
  • At Chanukah, families crush and press olives into oil, each bringing home a tiny jug of “miracle oil.”
  • At Pesach, children grind wheat, roll dough, and bake matzah in under 18 minutes.
  • Adults and seniors craft challah boards, braid Havdalah candles, even inscribe Torah letters on parchment with a real quill.
These aren’t crafts. They’re Judaism you can feel.
When someone walks away holding a shofar they made with their own hands, they’re not just holding an object, they’re holding pride, identity, and connection.

This is the power of Living Legacy. It’s not a lecture. It’s not a class. It’s Jewish pride you can touch, taste, and take home, and remember forever.
Now we need your help to bring that pride to thousands more.

“I still have the shofar I made 30 years ago. Now my kids are making their own.”

See for yourself! Watch these short, mind-blowing videos. You’ll be amazed.

Be a part of the Legacy!

Every dollar matters. Every child matters. Let’s build Jewish pride together.
  • $180 = sponsors 1 child’s full workshop experience.

  • $1,800 = covers a classroom's experience.

  • $18,000 = dedicates a specific workshop with your name on the PR material for the year.

Choose the recurring option if you prefer spreading your gift over several months or throughout the year.

[The Living Legacy Mitzvah Workshops, founded by Rabbi Yossi Marozov and later expanded by Rabbi Shmueli Friedman, have grown into a cornerstone of Jewish education in Cleveland, offering hands-on experiences with Jewish rituals. Now under my leadership, the workshops continue to evolve with new tools and methods, reaching over 2,500 participants annually, fostering meaningful connections to Jewish heritage in schools, synagogues, centers, and homes.
