The Living Legacy Mitzvah Workshops provide that connection - unlike anything else - bringing exciting, hands-on Yiddishkeit to over 1,500 children, adults, and seniors each year. From crafting their own Shofars to pressing olives for Menorah oil, and baking Matzahs from wheat, these workshops spark joy, curiosity, igniting fascination and a lasting love for Jewish traditions.

The Living Legacy Mitzvah Workshops bring Jewish traditions to life for thousands of children and families each year. Through hands-on, immersive experiences, we inspire Jewish youth to connect deeply with their heritage, performing Mitzvot, and celebrating our traditions in a meaningful way. These workshops provide a unique opportunity for Jewish students - many of whom have limited exposure to traditional Jewish practices - to engage in the beauty of Yiddishkeit. We reach schools, temples, and community centers across Cleveland and beyond, building bridges within the Jewish community and making Judaism accessible to all.

-Shofar Factory: Saw, drill, sand, buff, and blow your own Shofar.
-Lulav and Etrog: Create and take home a perfectly arranged lulav and etrog set.
